Archbishop's Garden

The park itself, as a bishop's garden, was converted from a former wildlife park and designed in the French style. During the time of Bishop Károly Eszterházy, it was surrounded by a stone wall and could be accessed through beautiful wrought-iron gates.

Excellent a resting place for young and old alike.
Many trees, green paths, several hundred annual plane trees, lawns, a romantic stone bridge with frogs, a stone path with flower splendor, a playground for children. Walking along the park, we can also enjoy the Eger stream. A lovely music pavilion awaits us on Klapka Gyourgy Street, where performances and musical evenings are held. In the southwest part, sports facilities can be found, such as the Sports Hall and tennis courts.
