In the innovation area, visitors can encounter objects and tools that are either familiar to them from everyday life or completely new to them. Everyone knows it, but no one thinks of the flush toilet, for example, as an innovation related to water, even though it is actually the one that has revolutionized and made people's lives easier. Or we could mention the water wheel, which has been doing a huge amount of work for people almost since ancient times. A particularly interesting topic is the presentation of steam engines, which made working machines independent of location (wind, terrain, water power, draft). Or dams are innovations without whose protective function it is unimaginable to protect inhabited and cultivated areas.

The real highlight is the section dealing with swimming, which presents its history from prehistoric times to the present day, with a special emphasis on Esztergom-related memories. The design of the space itself is unique, and the visitor can gain additional information by feeling like they are in a swimming pool.
