We have been welcoming our guests at the Forst-Ház Restaurant and Café since February 2004, in the main square of Eger, at Dobó István Square, No. 1. The restaurant itself is named after the building, which was once owned by the optician Antal Forst, who later served as the chief magistrate of the city of Eger.

As the owner, store manager and kitchen manager, I have made it my mission to always use high-quality ingredients that can be trusted. We choose from suppliers and farmers who can ensure quality and consistency over a long period of time. We have chosen traditional hospitality as our main profile, the essence of which is a la carte (according to the menu) meals, which can be called classic. We prepare it with culinary technology.

Our menu changes twice a year, and every month we enrich our offer with an extra menu tailored to the current month. In addition to our wide range of dishes, we offer excellent coffee products, the raw material for which is BRISTOT's excellent The choice fell on quality Italian bakery products.
