Hamsza Restaurant is not only Debrecen's first kosher restaurant, but also the only kosher restaurant outside of Budapest. In addition to the modern and clean interior, the exciting, fine dining concept of the Middle Eastern dishes will definitely blow your mind!


Behind the artistic concept of the dishes is Hamsza's chef, Ahron Faigen. Ahron studied at the most prestigious Israeli culinary school, Tadmor, and then worked under the country's most famous chef. He later opened his own restaurant and then moved to Dubai, where he cooked for billionaires as a private chef. After the birth of his little girl, he returned to Israel, and from there he and his family came to Debrecen to open the Hamsza restaurant. Chef Ahron is a true artist whose goal is to introduce the world of modern Middle Eastern cuisine to those with a taste for unique flavors.

The desire for uniqueness and innovation permeates all his dishes. Traditional dishes are presented on the plates with an exciting twist, not only in taste, but also in the service.
